The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on partnership between the WIETE and the Faculty of Architecture at Cracow University of Technology (FA-CUT) based in Kraków, Poland, opens a new era for collaboration between the two institutions. The signing was done in two stages, the first taking place in Kraków on Tuesday, 5 September 2017, where the MoU was signed by Professor Jacek Gyurkovich, Dean of the FA-CUT. The second stage eventuated at the Seminar gala banquet, held on Wednesday, 13 September 2017, in the rooftop restaurant at Titania Hotel in Athens, where the MoU was signed by Professor Zenon J. Pudlowski, WIETE Director, with Professor Sabina Kuc of the FA-CUT witnessing the signing.

Under this MoU, the two parties mutually agreed to pursue the mission, aims and objectives of the WIETE, and expressed their desire to join forces in promoting and developing engineering and technology education, and architecture and urban design education, in particular for the benefit of the two parties involved, as well as the entire global community of engineering and technology education. Subject to the availability of funds, the two parties intend to pursue jointly a wide range of activities and ventures.

It should be mentioned that Professor Sabina Kuc was the instigator and facilitator of this partnership for which she deserves the highest commendation.
