In view of the Covid-19 pandemic raging through Europe, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on partnership between the WIETE and the Faculty of Architecture at Wrocław University of Science and Technology (FA-WUST), based in Wrocław, Poland, had to be accomplished remotely. The signing was conducted in two stages, the first taking place in Melbourne, Australia, on Wednesday, 18 November 2020, where the MoU was signed by the WIETE Director. The second stage eventuated in the Dean’s Office on Friday, 20 November 2020, where Professor Barbara E. Gronostajska, Dean of the Faculty, signed this document (see the attached picture).

The signing of this MoU opens a new era for collaboration between the two institutions - the two parties involved. Under this MoU, the two parties mutually agreed to pursue the mission, aims and objectives of the WIETE, and expressed their desire to join forces in promoting and developing engineering and technology education, and architecture and urban design education, in particular for the benefit of the two parties involved, as well as the entire global community of engineering and technology education. Subject to the availability of funds, the two parties intend to pursue jointly a wide range of activities, projects and ventures.
