Prospective authors should submit their articles in electronic form to the Editor-in-Chief via e-mail as only electronic submissions will be accepted. Only original, not previously published articles will be considered for publication, subject to positive reports from international peer referees. Submitted articles should be accompanied by a completed Submission Form that includes copyright transfer to the publisher. Articles must be written in plain English with English UK spelling, grammar and sentence structure conventions and must adhere to the journal’s style, as per the style-file and instructions for authors. Articles accepted for publication will undergo extensive editing to maintain consistency, uniformity, language correctness and standard formatting to ensure a high quality publication. The journal follows the International System of Units (SI) widely accepted by engineers and technologists.
Authors should note that all communication will be with the first author of the article, unless advised otherwise. If necessary, the first-named author will be sent the proofs for checking typesetter's changes. The publisher’s policy is that full publication payment must accompany the submission of the article. This amount will be credited to the first author’s account maintained by the publisher. If the article is not accepted for publication, the payment will be refunded in full. Once your article is accepted for publication, our processes are highly efficient and the dedicated WIETE team can ensure that your article is published in approximately 6-8 weeks from the deadline for submissions.
Potential contributors should note that the publisher reserves the right not to publish articles which in the Editor-in-Chief’s view would extend beyond the scope of the journal and/or contain the material that would jeopardise the quality and reputation of the journal. Further, it should be noted that the publisher reserves the right to suspend or cancel the publication of the journal due to any unforeseen events or circumstances. In such circumstances, all publication payments held by the publisher will be refunded in full. |
